As soon as the week bloomed and blossomed...
I typed the words---- TGIF... :D
and I had such promise for the weekend ahead...
working in the yard- planting a few flowers...
cleaning the house- doing laundry...
AND
POOF!
It came... and it went!
AND!
Now it is Monday... Another Monday with Avery crying when he wakes up. Another Monday that Avery wakes up not wanting to go to school.
Another Monday that Avery complains that he doesn't feel well and needs to go to the doctor.
I am on the brink of losing it. I just don't know what to do to help him over this 'feeling' of NOT wanting to go to school. AHHHHHRRRG~ :O
I am starting to lose my patience that is certain.
He is upstairs asleep-
I am going to check him into class in about 30 mins.
Ohh---- he best wake up ready to hit class.

The weekend went by way too quickly...
We had the Girlfriend's Unlimited- "Sweet Life" get together on Saturday. I did a demo of my Chocolate Sheet Cake...
ohh- that cake is beyond yummy!
The demo went great. I went first (thankfully!!) I got a few laughs when I mentioned my Pyrex
magnetic measure spoons. ( LOVE those things!!!)
Ohh- and when I mentioned the butter content in the cake... lol!
Tonya did a wing recipe next...
It was fun! Amy did a great job putting it all together.

I have felt pretty crummy the whole weekend- I had to cancel an appointment this morning with Pam Garrett at Eagle's Landing OBGYN- for my check up. Hopefully the schedule will match up for next month... :C

Hayden pulled a mess this weekend too. He was oblivious to his Book Report due today...
Not only had he NOT chosen or READ the book.... he didn't even have the info packet telling him HOW to do the report.
So- here I am after church looking all over EDLINE trying to make sense of Mrs. Rainey's notes... NO WHERE!
NO WHERE in Edline did it give info on the report other than the fact that it was DUE MONDAY MARCH 29th!!!!!!!!!!
Ohh my!
Between Avery's issues... Teyler's troubles... and NOW HAYDEN!
packing a hobo sack and hitt'n 75 is looking pretty good at the moment. :-[

I pick out a book for Hayden at BAM... he is literally reading ALL DAY!
I call, facebook, text.... anyone and anybody that I can think of that might have instructions for this project.
It is a choice-Cereal Box Diarama... but I am still not sure of the 2nd choice. :/????????
He reads to chapter 16.... not finished, but I couldn't take it another second.
Nobody returned my messages until really late... so--
I decided to just blow it off and let Hayden get a late grade. Maybe...
who knows-
she might just give him a big fat ZERO!!!!!!!

As I am logging this entry- I am getting a message from Teyler- telling me that his mouth hurts?
A tooth???
This is looking like one heck of a day!
I must be going...
I don't even want to ask what can happen next...

Today's post-
Te'yler...
Yesterday I got a text from Teyler around 11... He asked me to check him out at 1:00.
He didn't want to stay for the "Ballet Magnificant" performance. So---
Being the awesome Mom that I am- I told him NOT to eat at school and that I would pick him up and take him to lunch.
I love doing things like that for them- You know....
Spur of the moment, fly by the seat of your pants
Fun things!
I checked him out- we had lunch at O'Charley's. It was nice.
I brought him home to take care of Dunkin' and chill out.
Well..
During lunch I received a text from Lisa Lopez-Asst. to Principal...
She told me she had Te'yler's phone.
He was caught texting and Mrs. Snow took up the phone.
Teyler went on and on- about saying it wasn't in class- it was in the hallway...
He said that they should give them more freedom since they are almost ADULTS!
ohh jeez...
I get to the school to pick up his phone-
Lisa informs me that there was ugly language on his inbox...
So- of course I check it out- and HE had been texting this wacko girl in Canada AGAIN!
omg!
I was furious...
When I got home- I told him that we would be taking away everything from him. Itouch-computer-his tv... and his phone!
He doesn't really seem to understand why I am so upset with him.
Tre' talked to him- we just can't get through to him how his behavior is wrong- he motivation is lacking and his desire to please the Lord is lost in his laziness.
I am not sure what more I can do.
Praying for him is a constant~!
He mopped around and pouted all night- he wouldn't eat dinner.
He even resorted to watching Dancing with the Stars since he couldn't sleep.
He certainly is depressed for sure.
He was crying and tearing up all evening.
Uhhhg!
Being a parent is so difficult... being a good parent feels almost impossible!!!
Tre' and I both see where we could have been harder on Teyler- but hind sight is 20/20!!
He isn't a horrible kid- I don't understand why he is doing this stuff.
He has so much to offer-
his attitude just stinks!!!
I really lit into him about his expectations as a Christian...
Is he being a witness for Christ when he is cursing with those that don't proclaim to know the Savior?
Why would they want HIS faith if he acts just like they do?
I pray that these questions really touch his soul.
All I can do is pray like I have for his whole life... Pray that the Lord show himself in a MIGHT way and that Teyler see where he is wrong.
Prayer is powerful!
Prayer is how I express my heart to the Lord-
He already KNOWS my needs-
but when I speak to him about my needs he promises to listen and comfort me.
So-
that is what I am doing today... and everyday....
Praying without ceasing!
Praying for Tre' and I to have direction and faith as we help Teyler grow and become all God has planned for him.
Thank you Lord for teaching us to pray-

The day after 3.14!!!
Today at school the kids get to celebrate March 14... 3.14 Pi!!! DAY!!!
So- Hayden had to come up with a design for a PI shirt to wear today.
He drew out a cute slice of pie with the top vent in the PI symbol.
I loved it!
There were a few obstacles that prevented THAT design from happening....
SO!!!
I found this funky design. I printed it and made him his own
CHICKEN-POT-PI!
HAHHAHAHAAA!!!
He liked it!

Avery had to stay home on Friday. I believe this was more of a trick to begin with. I think he was just a little tired maybe. ? Because as the day went on- he seemed a little guilty.
Then...
I took him to Italian Oven.
Ohhhh... The eggplant Parmesan!!! I was almost crying it was so amazing!
We ran to WalMart after lunch and picked up a few things to help with Mr. Dunkin'!
A POOPER SCOOPER!!!!!!!!
That will the boys best friend! The back yard is such a mess from all of this rain- so the front yard looks like a poop bomb went off. YUCK!

Snoopy and Dunkin' are still getting to know one another.
Snoopy actually plays with squeaky toys these days.
He will occasionally run and fetch one! Very cute and funny!
Dunkin' is doing fabulous with potty training.
I do however, have to get him in a crate at night.
He is sleeping with us still- and that isn't going to be good for a constant habit. ?

Saturday we went out for our weekend trip to DD! Yumm...
Then we came home and made a plan.
Searching and shopping for Avery a bed. Tre' needed new shoes and then ALL 3 boys chimed in that THEY needed new tennis shoes too.
So- here we go for a fun filled afternoon- BJ's, Mattress King... Mattress GIANT! Mattress Factory...
and then KOHL'S!
We finally decided on a mattress at Sam's club. AND..........
We picked it up Sunday afternoon along with my
NEW DINING ROOM TABLE!
I am so excited!
This has been a long time coming.
Tre' got 2 chairs put together last night.
Hopefully he can get it finished tonight so Hollywood Glass can come cut a table topper for me.
I L O V E the colors of the table.
It is SO rich and wonderful!
PLUS!!!!!!!!!!!
it seats 8!!!
YEa-come on!!

Anyway-

At last the day! The smile that I have waiting for....
A puppy surprise for the boys. Hayden has been begging for years for a new pup.
Finally, Tre' said back last September that we could look into getting one.
We were all shocked for sure!
So the quest began!
Yorkie? Yorki-poo? That is all Hayden talked about.
Every week there was a new dog added to the list. He just loves dogs so much!!!

After much searching- finding one, but knowing that I didn't want to buy one from the Pet Shop at Southlake...
I literally researched for 3 weeks... hunting and searching the internet.
It was worth the work and the wait to this see face! He was thrilled, surprised and overjoyed!
It made my day!

On Wednesday night March 3, 2010... I was again searching for Teddy Bear puppies for sale.
I could only find a lady in Alabama that had a few. They were a little older and it would be a 4 hr trip to pick it up and then drive home. I mentioned to Tre'.... He was leaving it up to me.
THEN!!!
I found another website- and she didn't have any, but she sent me to another site-WHERE I FOUND MONTI!
She owns Timbercreek Puppies in Iowa!
We played phone tag Wednesday night and Thursday a.m.
Finally around 11 Thursday... We talked. I completed the application.
She contacted the airlines. She had it all arranged for Dunkin' to fly here on Friday March 5th.
He would land around 3pm and we could get him around 4.
So I put the plans in motion.
I had to convince Hayden and Avery to go with my to Daddy's office after school. I had to bribe them with a Starbuck's Frappe and Avery an icecream from Truett's! jeez!!!!
On the way there. Delta Cargo called and said the puppy was there.YEAHHHHH!
We got to Tre's office- picked him up and headed to Delta.
The kids had no idea.
They were playing with their Itouch's and not even paying any attention.
Tre' finds the Delta Cargo area.
I finally find the right door to go in.
Tre' run the video and I walk in- pick up the sweet bundle of cuteness and come out to shocked the boys.
The look on Avery's face was amazing!
He just stared at me...
Hayden was in the front seat-grinning from ear to ear.
Dunkin' just sat in the crate wondering what was going on.
They were so happy!
Hayden said," This is like a dream come true!"
Ohh- I was beyond happy, ecstatic, and thrilled that I pulled off such a wonderful surprise and memory for the boys.
It was perfect!

Now Snoopy- on the other hand... I am not sure he was so thrilled with the addition.
He has adjusted well- I am very proud of him.
Dunkin' is loving his new home and really finding his place around here.
The first night he slept through the night in his crate without even a whimper.
Teyler was still on his CCS trip to DC. He finally returned Sunday a.m. around 5:30.
He was just lovin' on the new pup and seemed very happy that we got him!

HE has arrived!
It all happened so fast-
He is precious and the boys love him!!!!
Snoopy is actually doing quite well with the addition.
I am so happy with him.
Timbercreek puppies and Monti are amazing. I am so thankful we waited until we found exactly
what we were suppose to have.
Ohh-
His name!!!!!!!!!
Dunkin'!!!
Our little Teddy bear pup.
He was born December 13, 2009.
He weighs around 4.5 pounds right now.
He is just precious. Playful, loving and a bundle of squeashy lovin'!!!!
I will give more details later.

Birthday week!!!
We are both a year older...
How can it be?
I remember Momma being 43! Here I am the same age.
It is weird. I don't feel any different.
Well- I do SEE things differently. I do appreciate things more. I don't take one second of life for granted. I choose to love- I choose to forgive!
I want to honor God- and thank HIM for the price he paid for me.
I see myself more through God's eyes and his love!
That is good!

I am not thrilled with wrinkles and sagg-i-ness... but it is a fact of life. We can't hide from it we can't run. It catches us all sooner than we can imagine.
We think as kids that time drags and we just wanna grow up.
That time comes and we just want to go back.
We have to find our place! A place of peace and love.
No matter our age- or our circumstances.

I am beside myself waiting to tell the boys.
It is going to be something they will remember for the rest of their lives!

I caught this rare moment on February 11, 2010-
They were hoping for the SNOW day on Friday the 12th. They were goofing off in the music room waiting to see if Henry County Schools were going to be closed.
They got their wish!

What a relief- Well- for him anyway.
I am not ready for this reality...

I have posted these pics of "t" because he is gone to DC this week. He left Wednesday a.m. and will return Sunday early. I hope he is having a good time and dressing warmly. Snoopy has been wandering around looking for him. Avery and Hayden miss him for sure. Maybe not the moodiness and 'shut-ups'! But they still miss him.
Well... me?
Yes-I miss him. I was already missing him before he left. I miss the Teyler I knew before he was a teen. I am not sure what happened, but somewhere along the way he grew up. Today I am not liking it either. I am not wanting my babies to grow up and leave me. I don't want them to be bums and have no future... I am just not ready to not be Momma. I see Hayden changing... I see Avery following right behind him too. I am crying as I think through all of this and I am truly overwhelmed thinking about it.
Where are my babies?
Well- I have to wipe these tears and move on. There is much to do today and I better jump on the Thursday train and get going.
Maybe getting a puppy will help push away these feelings of wanting another baby...

Here is how it all began...
Well- Winter Break that is.
Friday February 12, 2010... The forecast SNOW! It is a comin' folks! Get your break and milk and eggs cuz you are gonna be snowed in! They even closed schools! SO - our break got an extra day. Needless to say- the snow didn't come in until lunch-ish time..
So- first things first.
Off I went ( like a good lil' momma!) and picked up the most needed items around here.
Starbucks Frappe's for Teyler and Hayden...
and a box of Triple Chocolate Doughnuts from DUNKIN'!
ohh- that made the babies happy!
And then this came!!!

And they were over-joyed... exuberant... and tickled beyond measure!
It was beautiful and fun!
It quickly warmed up on Saturday- and the melting began. It was glorious while it lasted though.

WINTER OLYMPICS 2010 OPENING CEREMONIES were that Friday night as well.
It was amazing and so much fun!
The kids were so into it.
We had a wonderful weekend and full break week staying up late watching the events and having the best time!
Just wonderful!

We all met for dinner at Frontera to celebrate Nee Nee and Grandma Evans birthday's!
Happy Birthday Ladies!

Sweet Snoopy... I am can see the disappointment in you eyes. I have not updated my page in a few days... well- has it been a week? I am very sorry pup!
I will start my blame on Charter and their internet service. I really have tried to get online several times...but I kept getting bumped off. Very frustrating!
Plus- School started back for me with AIO!!!
The kids were out for Winter Break... and we were busy being bums that week. Getting back into the groove last week was really tough. Piano students out the ying yang... very busy! to say the least!
So- that is my excuse ol' snoop-dawg...
Stop looking at me with such pitifu little brown eyes. You make me feel guilty for sure!

I promise....
I will get better this week.
Back into my groove.
I must run though...
Lots to do in an hour.
