Well- Little Dunkin' has recovered and all is well!
We had him neutered last week- or 'fixed'... whatever
ya' wanna call it-
I am praying this helps take away his constant urge to hike his
little leg and mark his territory.
We shall see!
We are hoping for Snoopy's sake...
that it takes away the urge to hump Snoopy.

Yes- Snoopy... We are trying to save you too!

Last week moved along quickly. Being back from fall break
wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be.
Slowly but surely- my students are getting into a groove.
week by week!

Hayden went on his field trip Mon. and Tuesday. I REALLY missed him!
Ohh!!!! goodness...
It is SO weird when one of my babies isn't in the nest.
I just can't stand it...

We finally got some rain on Sunday.
As we were having lunch with Momma and Kellie's crew at Frontera...
wow!
It was c r a z y!
Then-
Hayden had forgotten his History book-
so we went back to the church/school for him to go to his locker.
Well....
Little did I know that we were going to stumble upon a flooded mess at the office.
Something happen with a downspout..
and the 2 inches of rain had flooded the Aftercare office and many classrooms.
OMG!
It is just unbelievable!.
I text Kim- and then the snowball of events started....

The entire school is turned upside down right now.
There is a restoration company there trying to put things back together.

There is always something to make the week interesting!
Good news...
The storm brought in a touch of fall to the air.
FINALLY!
thankfully!
WONDERFULLY!

I must move along this morning.
I have to finish my FAFSA paperwork this morning.
Classes start back at AIO next week.

do I do it????
I am so torn.

Maybe if my energy was normal and I felt better I would more gung-ho :[

PLUS
Avery and Mason get out at noon today for a teacher workday.
I will be seeing as many piano students that I can today.
My goal is to play my cards right and fix it to where I am
off tomorrow and Friday from CCS students.
OHH....
I need a mental day to recover and clean...
or
maybe go shopping for a bra...
jeans,
shoes,
:-O
we shall see...
Enjoying the lovely cooler temps that is for certain!

Where have I been?
Ohh...sorry Dunkin'...
I took a break from my 'blog time'.
I am back though.

Fall break was last week...
Fall break was grand!
I take back all the mean things I said about
starting school so early in August.

Tre' was off the whole week.
We did pretty much only what we wanted to do.
WHICH!?!?
was as little as possible.
I LOVED IT!

all but...

the un-FALL like weather!!!
We were not sure if we should hit the pool or run
around 'neked to cool off...
I will NEVER again complain of cooler weather!

I welcome seeing Snoopy wear his green
poofy winter coat...
( LOL !!! LOL!!)

THIS IS FALL!
Pumpkins!!

When I think of fall....
Here is where my heart goes.
Teyler in PawPaw's lap... outside in the leaves.
Bring on some fall weather please...
I need it.
My heart longs for it.
The seasons change for us to grow and learn.
I have learned that we need each one to survive.
The times of warmth and love and tenderness are there to
help us find strength, guidance and purpose for each day.

I have been a little down for months now.
I miss my relationship with Sherrie.
I miss there being a sense of family there- that is gone.
Daddy left us...
and Sherrie did too.
It has been so hard.

Much more difficult than I ever imagined.

The LORD knows my heart!
He knows where I stand and how I have loved.

Sherrie can see things how she chooses.
There isn't a heart of love when you stand in judgment...
The heart of love offers hope for a better tomorrow...
We can only offer love.
That is what I am doing, praying and seeking each moment.

Hopefully that will happen some day.
Until then I will keep praying...longing and yearning for that.

I have to move on and embrace what gifts I have today.

Thank you Lord... for Fall break-
time home with the boys and Tre'...
I needed it!
It was a blessing.

We made it!
August-- the hot, hellish month is done.
I don't remember being so happy to say good bye to August...
lots of reasons...
too many to mention actually...

Dunkin' understands...
It is hot baby. Steamy!
Sticky... and just icky!

See puppies...
keep looking out that window. The leaves will start turning soon.
A little breeze will start to blow.
Georgia Bulldog football is coming in 2 days too!
Fall is coming soon.

Take a nap behind the cool sofa... prop your weary, hot little head
on the pepsi box. It will get better soon.

September here we come!
We are ready for so much...
Hayden's 13th birthday. ( well-ready or not that is coming!)
Labor Day weekend... hip! hip! HOORAY!!
Fall break is days away.
6 wks in school????
ALREADY!?!?!?
we made it?
YESSS!

It hasn't been very graceful-
but we have made it and for that
