another recital done...
Spring 2010

i love them so much!

The recital went great.
I had a few chicken out-like Kasey... aahhhhggg!!!!!!!!
she has practiced since JANUARY!!! Canon in D...
she backed out last minute.
i was not very happy...
then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Susan Lei-a student in my subdivision started flipping out about recital.
She told her mom her song was TOO EASY!
well yes........
it was too easy.
She wouldn't choose a song on her own. I had to give her something to play
LAST minute.
ohh my gosh!

She wanted to come over after school to change songs?!!!???
she didn't show up at 4.
I called the mom-(huge language barrier!) and she said Susan would not come.
omg!
whatever at this point.
it didn't matter to me if she played or not.
then...
i am walking out the door at 6:25.... and lo' and behold who is in the driveway?!?

the performance is in 30 mins....
why are you HERE!???????

The rest of the kids did great!
Draven blew me away with River Flows. He is quite good once he puts his mind to it.
Connor did a great job too. Very expressive and flawless.

I am proud of all of them! Many of them pushed through and did a great job on their piece.
It is a good experience for them either way.

Now....to move on.
The last day of school is a coming!

I have lots to do to show appreciation to the teachers and the students.
Picture packs to make, frames to finish and decorate.
lots to be busy with.
I am just thankful that for the most part real lessons are over.
(even though I have outstanding payments due... which I must collect soon!>!>!>!)

I also withdrew from AIO for this session too. That is a another post all together!
